I think this is a good value provided it fulfills whatever your particular needs are. I was merely looking for a safe to secure a firearm just so it wouldn't be out in the open. It's not going to be indestructible and you can certainly find thicker safes and more fire-resistant ones however be prepared to pay a lot more. The features are good relative to the choice of either opening with a digital combination or using the one-finger biometrics. It allows for up to 32 different fingerprints for access and you definitely need to program it for multiple fingers on both hands. You will find it a little sensitive and frustrating at times relative to rejecting a programmed fingerprint. I wouldn't diss it for just for that because that's pretty much the nature of the beast with the biometrics regardless of what safe you buy. If you are looking for a good safe at a good price and purchasing it primarily to secure whatever valuables, I'd definitely recommend it. If you are looking for even more than that and you've got pretty deep pockets, you will probably want to spend more time shopping.
